March 26 Transfer Updates

  • Indya Green (5-11 JR wing/forward, Springfield, MO) announced her entry into the portal, out of Missouri State; 2023-24 stats: 10.2 PPG, 6.8 RPG
  • Siena transfer Elisa Mevius (5-10 SO guard, Rendsburg, Germany) announced her commitment to Oregon; she was 2023-24 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-MAAC
  • Paulina Paris (5-9 SO combo guard, Congers, NY) announced her entry into the portal, out of North Carolina; see her WBB Blog page for a rundown of her original recruitment
  • LSU officially announced the addition of Arkansas transfer Jersey Wolfenbarger (6-5 JR guard/forward, Fort Smith, AR)

March 25 Transfer Updates

  • Arkansas transfer Jersey Wolfenbarger (6-4 JR guard/forward, Fort Smith, AR) announced her commitment to LSU.
  • Central Arkansas grad transfer Kierra Prim (5-9 SR wing, Overland Park, KS) announced her commitment to Houston Christian.
  • Among the day’s entrants into the portal: Amiah Simmons and Kaylah Turner (Alabama A&M), Denim DeShields (UAB), Coriah Beck (Arkansas–Pine Bluff), Hana Mühl (Ball State), Kyla Oldacre and Ja’Leah Williams (Miami [FL]), Annika Stewart (Nebraska), Caitlynn Jordan (Utah Tech), and Bella LaChance (Vanderbilt).

March 24 Transfer Updates

  • The numbers: one week into the transfer window, the WBB Blog list includes about 650 D-I transfers, from about 250 schools. Around 225 of them are grad transfers.
  • The most recent players to enter their name into the transfer portal are Hailee Ford (Albany), Faith Burch (Cleveland State), Kendahl Spearman (Coastal Carolina), Kennedy Johnson (Idaho), Rachel Kuhl (Saint Peter’s), Mah Minthe and Tori Rubel (UT Martin), and Sophia Askew-Goncalves (Wichita State).

Noelani Cornfield Commits to Buffalo

Southern Miss grad transfer Noelani Cornfield (5-6 SR point guard, Gowanda, NY) announces her commitment to Buffalo. Her stats for the 2023-24 season were: 6.8 PPG, 2.9 RPG, 3.8 APG.

Mama Dembele to South Florida

Missouri grad transfer Mama Dembele (5-6 SR point guard, Manlleu, Spain) announces her commitment to South Florida. Her stats for the 2023-24 season were: 10.2 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 6.5 APG, 3.3 steals/game. She garnered All-SEC Defensive Team honors.
