Transfer News, March 2019

After being dismissed from the North Dakota State team last month, Sarah Jacobson (5-8 JR guard, Fargo, ND) will be transferring to Minnesota State–Moorhead (D-II), with two years of eligibility.

“I just had a really good feel when I talked to the coaches and the players,” Jacobson said.

Jacobson played her first two college seasons at NDSU before redshirting this past season for health reasons. She was dismissed from the team near the end of February.
The 5-foot-8 point guard started 59 games in her first two seasons at NDSU, averaging 9.6 points and 3.7 assists per game. Jacobson shot 38 percent (98 of 26) from 3-point range with the Bison.

“It was definitely a weight lifted off my shoulders and I’m excited for the next chapter,” Jacobson said. “I’m super grateful and thankful for the time I had at NDSU.”
