“I kind of had all my options open, but I never thought I would be at DePaul,” Holmes said. “I went to the Doug Bruno camp in like the fourth or fifth grade. To be there now, to know that I’ll be playing for him, it’s kind of unreal.”

Kate Bullman, 6-1 W, Grayslake Central HS (IL): The Daily Herald has an article out on her commitment earlier in the week to Illinois State.
“Ever since I went to their Elite Camp (last) June — it was my favorite one, and I went to several — that was the one stuck out to me,” Bullman said. “That was the first time they had seen me. I just got to know them over time. Their coaching staff is unlike any other that I’ve met in my life. They talked to me like I’m a person and not a ‘recruit.’ Sometimes we wouldn’t even talk about basketball. It was just life stuff.”
