Wisconsin transfer Diamond Bragg (5-8 SO combo guard, Camp Hill, PA) has landed at Duquesne (A-10).

Duquesne University women’s basketball head coach Dan Burt announced on Wednesday that 2018 All-USA Today Pennsylvania First Team selection and former University of Wisconsin guard Diamond Bragg has been added to the roster.

Bragg, who recently completed her sophomore season at Wisconsin, will sit out the 2020-21 season due to NCAA transfer rules and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining on the Bluff.

“Diamond is a combo-guard who has good athleticism and skill, with a strong ability to drive the ball and see gaps in the half-court defense,” said Burt of the newest Duke. “We have 100% faith and confidence in Diamond and what she brings to both the point guard and two-guard positions. She can run a team with a high degree of success, and will have her redshirt season to continue refining her 3-point range”

Former Kent State player Asiah Dingle (5-4 SO point guard, Boston MA) announced that she’s transferring to Stony Brook (America East). She was seeking to get closer to her ailing father.

A two-time Globe All-Scholastic and three-time MIAA Division 3 state champion at Archies, the 5-foot-4 guard from Stoughton announced her transfer Thursday. She hopes to be granted a waiver for immediate eligibility; her transfer was based mostly on the health condition her father, Maurice Dingle.

“Being able to have my support system closer,” Dingle said, “just in case anything happens to him, I’ll be able to come home right away.” It is roughly a 4-hour drive from Stony Brook, N.Y. to the Boston area.

Stanford grad transfer Estella Moschkau (6-1 JR wing, Madison, WI) has announced her choice for a new school: Wisconsin.

As for her role with UW, Moschkau said she’s excited to do whatever is asked of her and notes her perimeter shooting has improved markedly from her Edgewood days. That played out in her limited Stanford opportunities as she made 15 of 27 career 3-point attempts (.556).

“In high school I could shoot, but I wasn’t fantastic,” she said. “I’ve really grown my shooting percentage and I want to bring that versatility to the court, being able to bring the ball up, push the pace, create mismatches and also distribute. I love passing the ball, but I’m not afraid to shoot. I think my role will vary game by game, but I’m willing to help any way possible.”
