April 26 Transfer Updates

  • Boston University grad transfer Caitlin Weimar (6-4 SR center, Cortlandt Manor, NY) announced her commitment to NC State; Patriot League Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year; top shot-blocker in the portal at 2.8/game; started her college career at Marist
  • LSU transfer Hailey Van Lith (5-7 GR point guard, Wenatchee, WA) signed with TCU; started her college career at Louisville
  • Ball State transfer Nyla Hampton (5-7 SR point guard, Huber Heights, OH) announced her commitment to Michigan State; two-time MAC Defensive POY; among the top 5 in the portal in steals/game at 3.3; started her college career at Bowling Green—when Robyn Fralick (now at Michigan State) was head coach
  • Iowa State transfer Shantavia Dawkins (5-7 SO guard, Brampton, ON) announced her commitment to Dayton
  • Kentucky grad transfer Nyah Leveretter (6-2 GR forward, Blythewood, SC) landed at Georgia, their first portal addition this offseason

April 25 Transfer Updates

  • Alabama senior wing Aaliyah Nye withdrew her name from the portal
  • Maryam Dauda (6-4 RS SO forward, Bentonville, AR) entered the portal, out of Arkansas; 2023-24 stats: 10.1 PPG, 6.3 RPG; in the top 5 among shot-blockers in the portal, at 2.2/game
  • Rutgers transfer Jillian Huerter (6-0 FR guard, Clifton Park, NY) landed at Fairfield; sister of Kevin Huerter (Sacramento Kings) and Meghan Huerter (Albany)
  • Ohio State transfer Emma Shumate (6-1 RS SO wing, Dresden, OH) has announced her commitment to Michigan State, staying in the Big Ten; began her college career at West Virginia
  • In another intra–Big Ten move, Michigan grad transfer Taylor Williams (6-2 GR forward, New Baltimore, MI) announced her commitment to Northwestern; started her college career at Western Michigan
  • Tennessee transfer Karoline Striplin (6-3 JR forward, Hartford, AL) landed at Indiana, their first portal pickup this offseason, and then Penn State transfer Shay Ciezki (5-7 SO combo guard, Buffalo, NY) announced her commitment to Indiana (note that no player from Indiana has entered the portal)

April 24 Transfer Updates

  • Alexis Callins (5-8 SR shooting guard, Martin, TN) entered the portal, as a grad transfer out of North Alabama; 2023-24 stats: 14.4 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 1.6 APG, made 88 out of 241 three-pointers (36.5%); third-team All-ASUN

  • Samara Spencer (5-7 JR point guard, Fort Lauderdale, FL) entered the portal, out of Arkansas; 2023-24 stats: 13.9 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 3.5 APG, 1.3 steals/game
  • North Carolina grad transfer Alexandra Zelaya (6-4 SR wing/forward, Goodyear, AZ) landed at UNC Wilmington
  • Washington grad transfer Jayda Noble (5-11 SR guard, Spokane, WA) landed at Cal
  • Miami (FL) transfer Lazaria Spearman (6-4 SO forward, Dacula, GA) signed with Tennessee, who’ve also landed Syracuse transfer Alyssa Latham
  • Colorado transfer Aaronette Vonleh (6-3 JR forward, West Linn, OR) announced her commitment to Baylor; averaged 14.0 PPG and 5.2 RPG in 2023-24; she began her college career at Arizona
  • Miami (FL) transfer Latasha Lattimore (6-4 JR forward/center, Toronto, ON) landed at Virginia; began college career at Texas
  • Pepperdine grad transfer Jane Nwaba (5-10 SR wing/forward, Carson, CA) announced her commitment to Vanderbilt; 2023-24 stats: 10.7 PPG, 7.6 RPG, 2.8 APG; honorable mention All-WCC
  • LSU adds three more from the portal: Shayeann Day-Wilson, 5-6 JR point guard, Toronto, ON / Miami (FL); Kailyn Gilbert, 5-8 SO shooting guard, Tampa Bay, FL / Arizona; and Mjracle Sheppard, 5-10 FR combo guard, Kent, WA / Mississippi State

April 23 Transfer Updates

  • Northern Kentucky transfer Carter McCray (6-1 FR center, Oberlin, OH) announced her commitment to Wisconsin, their first portal pickup this offseason; 2023-24 stats: 15.7 PPG and 11.2 RPG; Horizon League Freshman of the Year
  • Ohio State transfer Diana Collins (5-9 FR point guard, Lilburn, GA) has announced her commitment to Alabama, who’ve also landed Arkansas–Pine Bluff transfer Zaay Green

  • Four more Charlotte players entered the portal following head coach Cara Consuegra’s departure to Marquette: Jacee Busick, 6-1 SR wing, Kernersville, NC (grad xfer), Dazia Lawrence, 5-8 RS JR guard, Greenville, NC (grad xfer), Olivia Porter, 5-8 SO guard, Chapel Hill, NC, and Keanna Rembert (6-2 RS SO forward, Raleigh, NC)
  • Faith Alston (5-7 SR point guard, Centerville, VA) entered the portal, as a grad transfer out of Appalachian State; 2023-24 stats: 18.3 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 4.7 APG, 1.9 steals/game; second team All–Sun Belt
  • Maryland transfer Riley Nelson (6-2 FR wing, Clarksburg, MD) landed at Duke, their first portal pickup this offseason
  • Boston College grad transfer JoJo Lacey (6-1 SR wing, Douglassville, PA) landed at Rutgers, their first portal pickup this offseason
