Notre Dame

Sophomore guard Abby Prohaska has now been declared out for the season.

McGraw also announced today that sophomore guard Abby Prohaska is out for the year and will take a redshirt season.

Prohaska has been dealing with blood clots in her lungs.

Starting point guard Marta Vargas is out for the season with an injury, per this report.

Maine

Summary of the Black Bears’ injury situation:

UMaine has lost America East Player and Defensive Player of the Year Blanca Millan (knee) and 2018-19 America East rebounding leader Fanny Wadling (concussion) for the season along with reserve forward Alex Bolozova (knee). Reserve senior guard Sierra Tapley and freshman forward Abbe Laurence are also sidelined with injuries.

Stanford

Injury update on several Cardinal players:

Lacie Hull, who stepped in for her sister Lexie, Stanford’s leading scorer, in a big way last season, could have played if necessary. Senior DiJonai Carrington missed her eighth game but is making progress. Senior Mikaela Brewer and junior Maya Dodson have yet to play.

Oklahoma

The Sooners have added a player to their roster from the school’s volleyball team: Ashlynn Dunbar, a 6-0 guard out of Seabrook, Texas.

Dunbar played high school basketball at Clear Falls High School in Texas. She was a three-time First Team All-District and two-time First Team All-County player.

Loyola Maryland

The Greyhounds have at least six players out with injuries, including three starters. The team’s latest game notes indicate that Taleah Dixon and Emma Glezen are both out for the season, while Ashley Hunter and Mackenzie Wagner are among the others out.

Karcz’s tolerance for pain has been a boon for a Greyhounds team that is 3-9 overall and 0-1 in the Patriot League and is missing six players, including three starters, because of injury. And that appeared to increase to seven players and four starters after senior point guard Alexis Gray suffered an apparent concussion in the third quarter of a 64-56 loss to Holy Cross on Jan. 2 at Reitz Arena.
