News on two Ole Miss transfers: Madinah Muhammad, 5-8 junior guard out of Chicago, is visiting North Carolina. And St. John’s announced the addition of Alissa Alston, 5-8 junior point guard from New Haven, CT. (5/18/2018)
Alston is coming from Ole Miss where she competed against powerhouse SEC teams over her three seasons with the Rebels. Capping off her junior campaign, Alston started in all 29 games that she appeared, playing a team-most 35.7 minutes per contest.
The New Haven, Conn., native was one of three players to average double figures over her junior season, boasting 14.0 points per game. In addition, Alston paced Ole Miss with 131 assists on the season to sit fourth in the SEC with 4.5 per contest.

“I was excited and surprised to receive a call from Mississippi State,” said Taylor, who, in addition to MSU, also took an official visit to TCU. “They are a Final Four team, played in the NCAA national championship game. It was crazy. (Mississippi State head) Coach (Vic) Schaefer told me when he saw me before we played them this season he thought I was pretty good. Then, when we went against them he said he didn’t want to have to play against me again. So, when he saw I was looking to go to another school he thought I should come to Mississippi State.”

Yacine Diop, who led Pittsburgh in scoring and rebounding last season, is expected to be on Louisville’s campus this afternoon.

Texas A&M grad transfer Anriel Howard, 6-1 junior forward out of Atlanta, GA, will officially visit South Carolina this weekend. This will be her fourth visit—and possibly her final one. Her previous visits were to Florida State, UConn, and Mississippi State. (4/24/2018)
On Tuesday, Che Howard [Anriel Howard’s mother] told The State her daughter will visit the Gamecocks this upcoming weekend, starting Thursday. It will be her fourth official visit, and potentially her last.
“That will be her fourth visit. I think Anriel is ready to make a decision after that,” Che Howard said. “I’m pretty sure she’s going to make a decision after this. She’s saying she doesn’t want to take a fifth visit and she just wants to concentrate on her upcoming finals in a few weeks.”
Baylor makes a significant addition to its 2018–19 roster, landing LSU grad transfer Chloe Jackson, 5-9 redshirt junior shooting guard out of Upper Marlboro, MD. (4/24/2018)
Jackson, a 5-9 guard who will earn a business degree from LSU, has one year of eligibility remaining and will pursue an advanced degree in sport management at Baylor.
Jackson earned All-SEC Second Team and LSWA All-Louisiana Second Team recognition after starting all 29 games for LSU last season. She averaged a team-high 18.1 points per game, playing in a team-high 37.0 minutes per contest. Jackson, who led the Lady Tigers in scoring 16 times, also averaged 4.7 boards per game.

Arthur Clark said his daughter was contacted by numerous Division I programs after word spread of her impending transfer. High Point, William & Mary, Old Dominion, St. Bonaventure, Seton Hall and Oklahoma all contacted Kaila Clark, who is due to complete the spring semester at the Naval Academy on May 8.
Clark comes from a real basketball family as her father played at Drexel, her mother at Radford and her older sister, Sierra, at Wagner.
South Carolina is interested in TCU transfer Amber Ramirez, 5-8 sophomore guard, San Antonio, TX. (4/18/2018)
Sophomore Amber Ramirez announced in early April that she would be transferring from TCU. The 5-foot-8 guard averaged 10.8 points, 2.86 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game for the Horned Frogs this past season and started 23 games for the team, which advanced to the semifinals of the WNIT.
On Wednesday, Ramirez’s former AAU coach, Ray Caldwell, confirmed to The State that South Carolina has reached out to her and is interested in adding the San Antonio, Texas, native.
UC Santa Barbara transfer Sarah Bates, 5-9 freshman guard out of Fresno, CA, has taken official visits to Kansas State and Tulane over the last few days. (4/16/2018)

Texas A&M junior forward Anriel Howard will visit Starkville for Super Bulldog Weekend beginning on Friday, multiple sources told 247Sports. Howard has visited Florida State and UConn in the last couple of weeks and is also scheduled to visit South Carolina with a fifth visit undecided.
A graduate from A&M in three years, Howard is able to play right away at the school of her choice. A source said that she does not plan to make a decision until after taking her visits.
Technically this is not a transfer, but . . . freshman guard Aina Ayuso has left Oregon, returning to Spain and turning pro. So the Ducks have now lost three players, with Sierra Campisano and Anneli Maley transferring. (4/15/2018)
Oregon head coach Kelly Graves told the Emerald that Ayuso left the program after a club in Spain made a spot open for her on their team, and that Ayuso wanted to major in physical therapy — something UO does not offer.
Ayuso, a Barcelona, Spain, native, played in 31 games, averaging 8.1 minutes and 2.2 points per game in her freshman season.
