Yet another D-I transfer addition for Southeastern University (NAIA): Taylah Simmons (6-0 RS SO wing, Melbourne, Australia), who led Wagner in scoring (15.3 PPG) and rebounding (7.2 RPG) during the 2018-19 season. That makes four former D-I players transferring to Southeastern, two of them originally from Australia.


Courtney Schoenbeck (5-8 FR guard, Walworth, WI), who was a walk-on at South Dakota, is transferring to Wisconsin–Parkside (D-II).


Former North Carolina Central player Xian Lopez (5-11 FR wing/forward, Snellville, GA) has landed at Brenau, an NAIA school in Gainesville, Georgia.


Southeastern University (NAIA) announces another transfer addition, the second in two days: M’Caela “Lela” Sellers (6-0 wing, Lakeville, MN), who was on Liberty‘s 2017-18 roster as a sophomore but was not on their 2018-19 roster.


Former Siena player Angelina Hammond (5-11 FR guard, Hopkins, MN) is transferring to Southeastern University, an NAIA school located in Lakeland, Florida.


Among six newcomers, Towson (CAA) officially announces two D-I transfers:

  • Myka Johnson-Matthews, 5-8 RS JR point guard, Upper Marlboro, MD (grad xfer) / Florida Atlantic
  • Myasia Jones, 5-10 FR guard, Lavonia, GA / Savannah State

The Towson University women’s basketball team will see six new faces on the court in the 2019-20 season. Bianca Glover, Myka Johnson-Matthews, Myasia Jones, Wiebke (Matilda) Schwartau, Maggie Sharp and Khyra Williams have joined the Tiger squad and wrapped up summer workouts this week.


Detroit Mercy (Horizon) officially announces the addition of Maxine Moore (6-0 SO forward, Southfield, MI), transferring across the state of Michigan from Western Michigan.
