It’s also crunch time. After trimming her list to N.C. State, Stanford and UNC in September, Nivar has officially visited all three campuses with her family and removed the Tar Heels from consideration.

Now, with hopes of locking up a commitment during next week’s basketball early signing period, Nivar is faced with a tough final decision between the Wolfpack and the Cardinal that she’s examining from every angle: potential teammates, program history, campus vibes, academic options and much more.

“Things have been busy,” she said. “Really busy.”
