Katie Krupa, 6-0 F, Morton HS (IL): Local TV station has a feature on Krupa. From January through July of this year, she picked up eight offers, in this order: Bradley, Southern Illinois, Valparaiso, Loyola Chicago, Illinois State, North Dakota, Illinois, and Saint Louis University.
Mya Hansen, 5-7 G, Billings Central Catholic HS (MT): committed to Montana (Big Sky), their first 2022 commit.
The 15-year-old is (unofficially) believed to be the youngest athlete ever offered a scholarship by the Lady Griz basketball program, according to Pat Hansen who said coaches informally couldn’t recall anyone younger.
“I’ve been always thinking about committing there early. It’s just awesome to know that I can go into the rest of my years of high school and just play basketball, the thing I want to do,” Mya Hansen said.
Kamy Peppler, 5-7 PG, Hortonville HS (WI): announced her commitment to Milwaukee (Horizon), their first 2022 commit. She also had an offer from North Dakota.
Taylor McCabe, 5-9 G, Fremont HS (NE): a Fremont Tribune feature on McCabe includes a summary of her current offers, the most recent coming from Nebraska. She also has unofficial visits coming up to Marquette and Iowa.
The University of Nebraska joined the mix by offering a scholarship to McCabe during an unofficial visit on Wednesday. The Huskers join South Dakota State, UNO, Colorado State, Colgate, the University of Missouri-Kansas City and Creighton as schools that have extended offers to the 5-foot-9 standout.
