Kartchner said she had five Division I offers and many other schools interested.
“I knew where I wanted to go and that BYU is the place for me, so why not make the decision now if that is the place you want to go,” Kartchner said. “… Now I just want to focus on winning games and having fun with my teammates.”

Tiarra East, 5-10 W, Butler Traditional HS (Louisville, KY): has offers from Murray State and Alabama A&M.
Player to watch: Tiarra East, a 5-10 junior forward, was offered by Murray State and Alabama A&M after averaging 9.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game as a sophomore. She can take defenders inside or knock it down from the arc.
