Katie Borowicz, 5-6 PG, Roseau HS (MN): An article mainly about Kiley Borowicz, a sophomore on the Minnesota State Moorhead women’s basketball team, also includes a tidbit about younger sister Katie, who has received interest from several D-I schools. Kacie Borowicz, the middle sister of the three, is a senior at Roseau and has signed with North Dakota.
Katie is a sophomore who has received interest from Minnesota, Wisconsin, UND, North Dakota State, South Dakota State and South Dakota, Tracy said.
Alyssa Brown, 6-1 F, Sahuaro HS (Tucson, AZ): Arizona Daily Star feature on Brown indicates that she’s drawn interest from Grand Canyon, Nevada, Michigan, Washington, and Jacksonville State.
Now, the Sahuaro sophomore is garnering the attention from Division I programs. While Brown hasn’t received any official offers, she’s been in contact with schools like Grand Canyon, Nevada, Michigan, Washington and Jacksonville State.
Although Brown hasn’t heard anything from Arizona, Brown said she may consider coming back to play at McKale Center — but as a collegiate athlete.
But she also kind of wants to explore other options.
“I mean, I love Tucson, but I want to venture out and have people say ‘oh, she came from a small town and did big things,’” Brown said.

Brylee Glenn, 5-10 G, and Jaelyn Glenn, 6-1 G, both of Barstow HS (Kansas City, MO): committed to Kansas State. GoPowercat posted an article on the Glenn twins’ commitment.
“For us to commit, we wanted to know the coaching staff was going to be there with us throughout our college experience,” Brylee said to GoPowercat. “We asked them if they were planning on staying at K-State for six years. He gave us such a good answer.”
That answer came from assistant coach Brian Ostermann.
“He said they don’t make a commitment to any amount of years, because their commitment is a lifetime. That was an awesome answer,” the twins’ mom, Shae Glenn, piped in.
Kendall Moriarty, 6-0 G, Benet Academy (Lisle, IL): Latest school to offer Moriarty is Northwestern (her fourth Big Ten offer). Earlier offers (June to December of 2018): Marquette, Milwaukee, St. Louis Univ., DePaul, Illinois State, Miami (OH), Akron, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa.
Saylor Poffenbarger, 6-1 W, Middletown HS (MD): A feature article on Poffenbarger indicates that she has at least 20 offers and provides a list of schools who have sent coaches to watch one or more of her games or practices.
When the Knights opened this season against Frederick, Maryland head coach Brenda Frese was there. When the Knights played Smithsburg on Jan. 8, a UConn assistant was there.
Also coaches — usually assistants — from Tennessee, Kentucky, Penn State, Indiana, Pittsburgh, Florida, Arkansas, Oregon and Missouri have showed up at games or practices this year to watch Poffenbarger.
The guard already has at least 20 scholarship offers. She has yet to decide where she’ll play.
