Jaddan Simmons, 5-8 PG, Green Bay Southwest HS (WI): A feature on Simmons from the Green Bay Press Gazette notes some of her offers, with Xavier being the most recent.

Simmons picked up a big offer from Xavier University last month, adding to a list that’s closing in on 20 Division I schools. It includes all four in the state.

Among the Power Five schools recruiting her are three from the Big Ten (Illinois, Nebraska and Wisconsin), two from the Pac-12 (Arizona State, Utah) and one from the Big 12 (Kansas State). The University of Houston also is among the notable schools chasing her.

Simmons has gotten used to the recruiting spotlight since picking up her first offer from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in June 2017, which was followed with an offer from UW-Milwaukee later that summer.

“It was never really a stress for me, but I am dealing with it a lot better because now I’m getting more information from the schools and just seeing what everyone is really about now that I’m older,” said Simmons, who will play in the USJN Plains Classic tournament in Kansas City this weekend as part of the Purple Aces AAU team. “I know it’s a blessing either way. I can’t let it become a stress or a bad thing. One way or another, it’s a blessing.”

Anna Walker, 6-0 F, Bradley Central HS (Cleveland, TN): committed to Chattanooga (SoCon), their first 2020 commit.
