Capria Brown, 5-8 G, Schlarman Academy (Danville, IL): A local news feature following her in-state offer from Illinois mentions her plan for narrowing her list later this summer. She has since picked up an offer from Colorado. A full list of her offers can be found on the 2020 Recruiting Summaries page.

Brown decommitted from Xavier earlier this season after a coaching change. She has offers from Illinois, Penn State, Michigan and Marquette, among several others. Brown says she will release a Top 10 list later this summer, then narrow her list to the five schools she will take official visits to.

Lexi Mittelstadt, 5-7 PG, Mt. Blue HS (Farmington, ME): committed to Maine (America East).

While schools such as Bowdoin College, St. Joe’s and Southern New Hampshire University were on her list, NCAA Division-I Maine was always at the top.

“Maine came about when I was there at a basketball camp last summer,” Mittelstadt said. “I went to that camp and then a couple days later on Sept. 1, basically (Maine assistant coach Courtney England) messaged me, we talked on the phone and then we went on an unofficial visit. I got to watch a whole practice, meet the players and the coaching staff. That really got me in because I connected with the coaches and players.”

Kyndall Keller, 5-8 G, Havre HS (MT): committed to Montana (Big Sky).

Keller said she considered Carroll and hometown Montana State-Northern, but she was always drawn toward Montana, which offered her a full-ride scholarship, she said.

“Being a Lady Griz has been my dream,” she said. “I thought it’d be really cool to step on the floor and play there.”
