Dani Haskell, 5-7 G, Franklinville HS (NY): The Olean Times Herald provides more information on Haskell’s commitment to Canisius (MAAC) earlier this month.

So playing somewhere relatively local was a priority for Haskell, who said she also considered Siena and St. Bonaventure, among other schools.

“I’m lucky,” she said, “because I get to stay close and they’re a good D-I team. So the fact that I get to be able to play for that is really cool.

“It’s very exciting, especially for my family, knowing that I’m going to be close. I have aunts and uncles and cousins that live in Buffalo, too, so they were all really excited.”

Erin Fox, 6-0 F, Millbrook HS (NY): announced her commitment to Marist (MAAC), becoming the first 2020 commit for the Red Foxes. Other schools that reportedly offered her include Manhattan, Austin Peay, Wagner, Colgate, and Albany.

Nyah Leveretter, 6-2 F, Westwood HS (Blythewood, SC): announced her commitment to Kentucky. She’s the Wildcats’ first commit for 2020. An article in The State provided a rundown of the other schools she considered and singled out South Carolina as a school she definitely had an offer from.

“The biggest factor for me was that they had every single thing I needed and wanted in a school,” Leveretter said. “I consistently talked with all the coaches and they all made me feel 100 percent comfortable over the phone and on my unofficial visit.”

Leveretter said she also considered Furman, Florida, Clemson, UNC Charlotte, Davidson, William and Mary and North Florida. She also had an offer from South Carolina.

Jacorriah Bracey, 5-11 SG/W, Ruleville Central HS (MS): Bracey committed to Ole Miss in mid-September. From this article, it appears at least one other school is still recruiting her despite her pledge. Regardless, she says her commitment is “solid.”

Bracey committed to head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin’s Ole Miss program on Sept. 15, just a little while after the Rebel football team lost to Alabama. To hear her tell it, there will be no changing her mind, despite the fact she holds offers from LSU, Tennessee, Alabama, Clemson, Temple and West Virginia. National powerhouse Mississippi State is also recruiting her.

“I’m solid in my commitment,” Bracey told the Ole Miss Spirit. “I’m committed to playing at Ole Miss. It was just their main approach. They made me feel as if I were at home. It was like I found my second home.”
