Vanessa De Jesus, 5-7 G, Sierra Canyon HS (Chatsworth, CA): A feature on De Jesus notes that she has offers from offers from Washington, Gonzaga, San Diego, and Columbia, “among others.”
Today, de Jesus, 17, is a star point guard for 26-0 Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California. A 5-foot-8 junior, de Jesus leads her team in scoring with 15.9 points per game despite playing just a handful of minutes in several blowouts. She also averages 6.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.0 steals.
She has offers from Washington, Gonzaga, San Diego and Columbia, among others.

Anna LeMaster, 5-9 SG, Stone Bridge HS (Ashburn, VA): The Frederick News-Post provides details on LeMaster’s commitment to Dayton (Atlantic 10) earlier this month. She picked the Flyers over Drexel, Fordham, Davidson, James Madison, and American.
She then chopped her list from 20 schools to six: Dayton, Drexel, Fordham, Davidson, James Madison and American. All of them offered her a full scholarship.
LeMaster visited Dayton in mid-October and then again on Jan. 26. The strong connection she felt with Flyers coach Shauna Green and the players on the team, along with feeling a strong comfort level on the school campus, won out.
“When I went there on the 26th, the whole team acted like I was their little sister,” LeMaster said. “It was cool. I was literally a part of the team, and I wasn’t even committing to anything.”

Madison Hayes, 6-0 G, East Hamilton HS (Ooltewah, TN): The Chattanoogan provides a recruiting update on Hayes, listing all two dozen of her offers and noting six other schools “recruiting her hard.” She’s ranked in the top 50 in the 2020 recruiting class.
Madison Hayes is averaging 25.2 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 3.4 blocks and 3.1 steals and is being recruited by a virtual Who’s Who in women’s college basketball.
The list of offers currently stands at 24 and include Louisville, South Carolina, North Carolina State, Kentucky, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Florida, Miami, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Georgetown, Syracuse, Villanova, Xavier, North Carolina, Tennessee, James Madison, Pittsburgh, Missouri, Ole Miss, Clemson and UT-Chattanooga.
Notre Dame, Mississippi State, Rutgers, Virginia, Purdue and Colorado fall into the category of “recruiting (Hayes) hard,” but have not yet made official offers.

Caitlin Clark, 5-11 PG, Dowling Catholic HS (IA): The Ames Tribune provides a recruiting update on Clark, who says she’ll “likely” make her decision after the summer AAU season but before her senior HS season. She’s a top-five recruit in the 2020 class.
“I think one of the most important things is, I want to play right away, so going somewhere where I can be an impact right away,” she told the Ames Tribune. “Coaching style, for sure. I’m not really sure if I wanna be close to home or go far yet, so I’m still working on that, and just a family atmosphere and family culture.”
Top programs like Oregon, Oregon State, Texas and defending national champion Notre Dame are all vying for the services of Clark, but local schools such as Iowa State, Iowa and Drake are also in consideration.
The head coaches of Oregon, Oregon State and Texas have all visited Clark multiple times, and in December, head coach Muffet McGraw of Notre Dame — currently ranked No. 4 in the country — watched Clark score 36 points as the Maroons defeated Southeast Polk, one of the top teams in Class 4A. . . .
The uber-talented junior said she’s likely to make her anticipated decision after her final season with the Attack this summer, but before her senior season at Dowling.

Lauren Gustin, 6-1 freshman forward, Salt Lake CC: committed to BYU (West Coast Conference) as a juco transfer for the 2020-21 season. Hailing from Salem, Utah, Gustin had signed with Idaho out of high school but left the Vandals prior to the beginning of the 2018-19 season and transferred to Salt Lake CC.
