Hope Sivori, 5-5 PG, Mercy HS (Louisville, KY): A Louisville Courier Journal feature on Sivori notes that she has garnered interest from Bellarmine (D-II), Wichita State, and SIUE.

The 5-foot-5 Sivori has made plenty of those shots in her three-year career as a starter. She scored her 1,000th career point in the regular season and enters the Sweet 16 averaging 15.9 points per game while shooting 73.3 percent from the foul line, 38.3 percent from the 3-point arc and 40 percent overall from the field.

“This year I feel that I need to be more composed,” said Sivori, who has drawn recruiting interest from Bellarmine as well as Wichita State and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville. “I also have to be more of a scorer because last year I felt I didn’t have to be.”

Fatou Samb, 6-4 C, Westside HS (Houston, TX): hosted Cal on a home visit. She had home visits with Clemson and Alabama earlier this month.

Among the offers that were reported for her during 2018 were Arkansas, Boston College, Florida, Houston, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, and Kansas.
