2019 Class: Recruiting News/Updates, July 2019

Yale (Ivy) announces three signees for their 2019 recruiting class: Klara Astrom, Jenna Clark, and Ayla Elam.


Colorado announces the addition of De’Ayra Davis, a juco transfer out of Iowa Western CC. A 5-7 guard originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Davis spent her freshman year at Florida A&M.

Colorado women’s basketball head coach JR Payne announced the addition of De’Ayra Davis for the 2019-20 season on Tuesday.

Davis, an Omaha, Neb., native, comes to the Buffaloes after spending last season at Iowa Western CC.

“We are excited for De’Ayra to join our family,” Payne stated. “She will come to Boulder with experience and a very competitive spirit. De’Ayra loves the game of basketball and plays with a tremendous passion.”

The 5-foot-7 guard played in 32 games last season for the Reivers, averaging 10.0 points per game.


Alana Denson, 5-7 PG, Forest Park HS (GA): committed to Coastal Carolina (Sun Belt).


Diamond Christian, 5-5 PG, Pennington HS (NJ): committed to Merrimack (NEC).


Jo’Nah Johnson, a 5-9 juco sophomore point guard out of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, has announced her commitment to Texas Tech. She had signed with Western Kentucky in May but then received her release from that school a month later.

Bryant (NEC) announces two additions to its 2019 recruiting class: Blanca Chasco, a 6-2 forward out of Barcelona, Spain, and Abbie Eads, a 6-3 center out of TPLS Christian Academy (Woodlake, VA).
